Nestled deep in the lush Byron Bay hinterland, Sammy and Julian tied the knot in the most intimate and heartfelt ceremony. Surrounded by rolling hills and golden light, their day radiated warmth, love, and so much joy. To make it even more special, Julian’s mum officiated the ceremony—an incredibly touching and personal moment that made the entire celebration feel even more grounded in love and family.

I was second shooting this wedding, capturing little in-between moments on digital while primarily working with film that day. What you see here are the quiet glances, the unfiltered laughter, and the magic I managed to steal in between rolls. There wasn’t a single moment where she wasn’t absolutely beaming, and it was contagious in the best way. This day was pure magic—full of beauty, connection, and that kind of love that you just feel lucky to witness.
